ABOUT WENDY

 
Certified in RIPQA afterschool teaching methods, Wendy applies her passion to developing afterschool programs that promote healthy lifestyle habits at an early age through various engaging program activities:
 
          -  Engaging in walking adventures that include a touch of magic
          -  Experiencing the healthful benefits of fresh air, nature, and sunlight
          -  Building greater awareness of the body, heart, mind, and soul
          -  Sharing healthy trail snacks
          -  Encouraging self-expression - opinions, storytelling, and writing

   
Wendy travels to elementary schools around Rhode Island to facilitate afterschool Netwalking programs. She develops innovative hands-on curriculum that focuses on issues in local ecology. Wendy is available to facilitate mentor training for schools and other organizations interested in implementing Netwalking in their communities.

Wendy earned her B.A. at Colgate University in 1980 and her M.B.A. from The Tuck School of Business in 1985. Wendy and her husband Dean have two children now in college.
