While most teens have become adept at blending in, each individual sits at the center of his or her own unique web of friends, and is capable of spinning out a powerful story through positive life choices made each and every day.
Today's teens are capable of effecting great change by combining their navigational/ communications skills on the world wide web with their face-to-face social presence in their various communities... like no generation ever before.
Teens who wisely harness this opportunity are the vanguard, the leading line, of a newly evolving world community that values peace, liberty, and true respect for one another and for the environment. The Vanguard of the Netwalking program are teens and young adults of integrity that fit this profile.
ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT
There are several ways teens can get involved with Netwalking.
(1) Become a coordinator and help organize netwalks that connect young people with career professionals.
(2) Become a youth leader and work with younger kids through the Storywalking and Netergetics programs.
(3) Intern with the overarching organization to help with program refinement, marketing communications, web content writers, financial planing, operational management, product development, and other areas of need as the organization evolves.
